1Malaysia Civil Servants Housing programme (PPA1M), Civil servants with household income RM8,000 and below can look forward to buying affordable quality homes in Putrajaya is launched by Datuk Seri Najib Razak on the 18th April, 2013 at the newly opened Everly Hotel near Alamanda Shopping Mall.
A total of 10,336 apartment units will be built on government land, priced at 20 to 30 per cent lower than the market rate under the PPA1M programme.The move to launch PPA1M was aimed at helping to overcome the burden of civil servants to buy houses in major towns.
The prices of affordable houses offered will be in the range of RM150,000 to RM300,000, with built-up area of between 1,000 and 1,500 sq ft, as well as other basic facilities including surau and multi-purpose hall.
